The Strip is much larger than most people realize, and it can be time-consuming to get from one end to the other. So I recommend choosing the shows and activities you want to do, then picking a centrally located hotel.

The Wynn Las Vegas is ideally located on The Strip, though you may never want to leave this megaresort. There are multiple on-site restaurants, pools, spas, shops, and casinos. Your room will have luxury amenities, and the service is top-notch here.
Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas
Located in the heart of The Strip, this non-gaming hotel is the perfect urban oasis. You’ll love the incredible on-site restaurants (make sure you have high tea in the Tea Lounge), three pools, cabanas, spa, and views.
Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas
This non-gaming luxury hotel is located next to the iconic Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, giving you the best of both worlds. You’ll love the on-site spa, restaurant, high-end rooms, pools, and private cabanas.
The Venetian Resort
If you’re in Vegas on a girls’ or romantic trip, the all-suite, centrally-located Venetian is probably the best choice for you. You’ll have everything you need on-site – lots of restaurants and bars, shops, shows, casinos, and pools. Plus, you can ride a gondola here!

There are on-site restaurants, bars, casinos, boutique hotels, an entire pool district of the resort, and a Sahra Spa & Hammam.
ARIA Resort & Casino
You’ll love the glitz and glam of the Aria, which is most famous for its high-end shopping. This resort is centrally located on The Strip, and it has fabulous pools, casinos, restaurants, and rooms.
Bellagio Las Vegas
The Bellagio is arguably the most famous hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. Here, everything is the epitome of luxury. You’ll have on-site restaurants, casinos, shows, pools, shopping, and the famous Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens.

Pro Tip for visiting Vegas: plan a midweek trip because room rates and show tickets are cheapest between Tuesday and Thursday.
December – February is Las Vegas’s peak travel season because of the holidays, mild weather, and sporting events. Tourist numbers and accommodation prices will be at their highest during these months, so you’ll want to book tours, flights, and accommodation in advance. It’s very windy during these months, and temperatures will be cool, especially in the mornings and evenings. So bring layers, and be prepared for outdoor pools to be closed.
March – May is a shoulder season for Vegas. Daytime temperatures will range from the 70s to 80s, but you’ll still want layers for the mornings and evenings. As long as you avoid Spring Break weeks, you can score some great accommodation and flight deals during these months, especially on weekdays.
June – August is hot (temperatures can get into the 100s), so you’ll want to do outdoor activities in the morning, evening, and night. These months are the most popular time for families to visit, so be prepared for your hotel’s pool to be jam-packed with kids. I highly recommend opting for a resort with an adults-only pool if you’re here in the summer.
September – November is a shoulder season when the crowds and prices will be significantly lower than in the summer and winter. Temperatures will be pleasant in the 80s – 60s, so bring layers.
